Cutest little place for a perfect late brunch. Menu is very interesting and chock full of delicious creations. Plants surround the space (they also sell these plants and planters and have a shop attached if you’re interested) and overall just has a great feel to it. Service was also exceptional. Will return.

Such a Lovely Spot for Brunch! We visited Maven for brunch, and it was such a cute place! I honestly thought they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us because I forgot to make a reservation, but luckily they were able to seat the five of us on the cafe side — which actually turned out even better, because it was much brighter and had such a nice vibe. The whole place has a beautiful ambience, lots of plants, and a cozy, modern feel. The food? Amazing. I ordered the feature of the day — chicken adobo with garlic fried rice — and it was delicious. We also tried the Salmon Danbury, the noodle dish, and the classic breakfast. Every plate looked and tasted like it was carefully curated. You can tell the kitchen puts real thought into the menu. We also got the matcha drinks, which were super tasty (though I wish the servings were a little bigger!). Big shoutout to our server, Piper — she was so sweet, helpful, and honestly just made the experience even better. Such a gem! Highly recommend coming here for brunch — just don’t forget to make a reservation!

I traveled all the way from San Francisco, California, to visit this restaurant—and I must say, it far exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Courtlin, whose hospitality instantly set a positive tone for my dining experience. Kristy, who took care of my table, provided impeccable service that was both attentive and genuine, making me feel right at home. The ambiance of the restaurant is both cozy and elegant, perfect for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience. Its location is also ideal—easily accessible yet tucked in a space that feels special and inviting. But what truly sets this place apart is the passion and artistry behind the food. Head Chef Leroy and Sous Chef Dani are the true stars of this experience. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was freshly prepared and thoughtfully crafted. The aroma, the texture, and the presentation were simply outstanding. You can tell that every plate is made with purpose and love for the craft. This was more than just a meal—it was an experience that engaged all the senses. To Chef Leroy and Chef Dani, thank you for delivering such excellence. You’ve created something truly special here, and I will absolutely be back—next time with my crew, so they too can experience what real culinary passion looks and tastes like. I loved my Tokyo breakfast. Not sure what my friend got - so I'll only review my dish. Serving proportions look small but is actually quite filling. Quality was good. Nothing amazing tho. I found this to be a creative breakfast selection I enjoyed :) Service was great! They check your coats for you which I was happy about. Ambiance is cute and is a vibe. Clean and well maintained. Enjoyed my brunch. Will go again.

Came here for brunch to celebrate Mother’s Day after extensive recommendations from friends and this place really lives up to the hype. The cuisine is Filipino-Asian Fusion and every dish was just an explosion of flavour in your mouth. The place in itself is very quaint but not too crowded and the decor is homey but still tasteful. They also gave my mom flowers for Mother’s Day from their very own plant shop. That was a very thoughtful and sweet touch from them. Will definitely be coming back more frequently in the future!

I recently had a wonderful brunch experience at a charming spot on 17th Avenue in downtown Calgary. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with an abundance of plants adorning the space—many of which you can actually purchase! The greenery really adds a unique touch and creates a refreshing, cozy vibe. The service was top-notch, with staff being incredibly attentive and considerate, especially when it came to allergies. They made sure to accommodate any dietary needs with care and attention. For breakfast, I had egg whites with turkey sausage and a fresh fruit bowl. The French toast on the side was the perfect complement, offering a sweet contrast to the savory options. My friend opted for the same but swapped out regular bread for wheat bread, which was also delicious. The total bill for two people came to about 52 CAD, which was reasonable given the quality of food and the overall experience. We had a fantastic time, and I left feeling completely satisfied. If you're ever in downtown Calgary and looking for a great brunch spot with a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend this place.

he atmosphere and staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Everyone was polite and attentive. Although we had a reservation, the place wasn’t crowded on a weekday. The portions were huge! We ordered the Singaporean toast and a dish called Benny (the first item on the menu, though I can’t recall the exact name). The flavors were unique, especially with the maple syrup—it was interesting but enjoyable. The potatoes had a bit of a chili kick, which was nice, though I’ve had better-tasting versions elsewhere in the city. I plan to return soon to try other menu items. As for the coffee, it was quite sour, which I believe it shouldn’t be like that. Overall, the wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff make this place deserving of 5 stars for now!

Hope to visit again soon! The decor and ambiance was lovely. Everything was delicious and good portions so I didn’t leave overly stuffed (or with a takeout box lol). Decently-paced service for around 10:30AM and our server was great too!
